Your first marketing document to prepare well is your CV. A good CV must highlight your skills and experience blended well with the key phrases from the airline's cabin crew job description.

Then , if you get shortlisted through ATS also known as Applicant Tracker System which is an Artificial Intelligence software, you will be asked to record a digital interview.

Does video interview make it easier for Emirates, Etihad and Qatar to recruit candidates? Yes and no.

The video interviews using Hirevue and the Taleo Artificial Intelligence screening means it is easier to complie the initial shortlist from the big pool of applications received. it also means the recruitment panels back at base in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha can view the candidates recordings over and over again before shortlisting the candidates for further tests including the English Test, other assessments and the final interview. For candidates that makes it through to the final interview stage, the lack of face to face in-person interviews could mean that some suitable candidates who naturally perform better in person could be disadvantaged. In addition, poor broadband connections from developing countries and who live in rural areas and those with older PCs or mobile phones would also be disadvantaged. All of this prevent some very good candidates from getting pre-selected.

For the candidates, shortlisting using this new methodology can be a nightmare as they use different benchmarks for their selection. Recording yourself through video can be nerve wrecking for some.

If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited for the final interview in person with the recruiter.

The coaching will be one-to-one via Zoom and everyone who signs-up will get Power point slides covering body language, what recruiters look for, how to give effective answers and finally how to answer some of the most difficult and stressful questions under the clock.

The coaching sessions are GBP£50 per lesson and each lesson has been extended to 90 minutes (previously 60 minutes). This ensures we make it affordable for most candidates and create value from each lesson. The investment will mean you will get to achieve your dreams sooner rather than later.
