Is Emirates & Etihad still recruiting for new cabin crew?

Not written a blog article for somewhile now. Since my last blog, many airlines and countries have now stopped travel altogether and we are now in a lockdown situation with lots of time on our hands.

The COVID19 situation has gone really bad and countries in Europe, UK and US are currently reporting a staggering amount of new cases with each passing day. It is not known when we will reach our peak and when we can expect the cases as well as deaths to slow down.

Why not use this time effectively to improve our CVs and interview techniques instead of just wasting the time away. If your dream is to become a cabin crew with Emirates, Etihad or Qatar, then use this time well to prepare. It is the best you can do for yourself.

Whilst most airlines have forced staff to go on no pay leave, others have lost their jobs, I am pleased to say that Emirates and Etihad have taken on a slightly different approach even though most of their staff are now grounded.

EMIRATES & ETIHAD ARE STILL RECRUITING FOR CABIN CREW.

OWING TO COVID-19, SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS AND LOCKDOWNS, ALL OPEN DAYS AND ASSESSMENT DAYS ARE NOW SUSPENDED BUT THEY WILL CONDUCT THE INITIAL RECRUITMENT PROCESS ONLINE.

If you apply and are successful, you will attend 2 digital interviews.

1. We can help with CV writing to ensure your chances of getting shortlisted will be high. We can also edit your photograph for you to white background.

2. We provide live one-to-one training for you via Skype for both your digital interviews (ATS and with HR member).

The CV is definitely important in getting shortlisted for your first digital interview. Tailor your work experience and match them to the key requirements of the Emirates or Etihad cabin crew.

When you are successful, you will be invited for the first of the two digital interviews. You will be asked to record your answers to 4 questions. Your answers will be evaluated by an ATS software which looks for the quality of your answers, tone quality of your voice, body language and the relevance of key words used.

If you are successful at this round, then next comes a scheduled interview with a HR team member who will ask you about 6 questions (typically what you would be asked at a final interview).

We are able to help you prepare your CV to increase your chances of getting shortlisted, then also help you navigate your way through these two interviews by arranging a mock video session of Skype with you. If you want us to help you, please do get in touch with us today or as soon as possible.

IS IT A GOOD TIME TO APPLY / REGISTER?

As there are less people even looking at the airlines now as many think they just aren’t recruiting at all, this is in fact the ideal time to get on the bandwagon, and get shortlisted now rather than when things return to normal again. Let us help you to get shortlisted and bring you a step or two closer to your dreams.
